How does the booking process work?

After you have submitted your booking request on our website, a Travel Consultant will review the booking details and send you a confirmation email within 48 hours.
For the services contracted, 50 % advance payment or deposit should be made after receiving the confirmation email. The remaining 50% of the amount should be paid in full amount before commencement of your tour.
However, full payment will be required at the time of booking if your travel arrangements are made within 4 weeks of arrival.
We hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as an advance payment, based on the nature or details of your desired trip and services with the time left for the commencement of the trip.
Once your booking has been confirmed and your booking money has been paid, Interactive Bangladesh will issue an invoice and vouchers to you regarding all of your travel arrangements. The travel documents will not be delivered to you until the full payment has been received. You will receive your travel documents either by post or upon arrival in Bangladesh.

Note: If the Travel Consultant is unable to obtain confirmation at the time of booking, an alternative trip will be offered to you. If you do not accept the alternative offer or Interactive Bangladesh is not able to offer you an alternative, no charges will be made to you.

Is it important to be accompanied by a guide?

If you have already traveled with us before and confident enough about your knowledge in language, locations and situation (during your travel) of Bangladesh then it’s ok to travel alone without a guide here. However we always suggest our respected clients to be accompanied by an expert guide considering some safety and political issues.
If you are new to Bangladesh then we would suggest taking an expert guide with you during your visit to Bangladesh.

What about my Personal Security?

The safest way to carry your tickets, passport and travelers cheque is in a money belt worn under your clothing. Bangladesh is generally a safe place and you would be extremely unlucky to have anything stolen. It is wise to take precautions and always be alert. Small amounts of money can be carried in a bum bag or shoulder purse.
All hotel rooms have secure locks and some people prefer to leave their suitcase locked inside the room. For air, bus and train travel your bag should be securely locked. It is a good idea to carry a photocopy of your passport, visa and tickets and the serial numbers of your Travelers Cheque.

How far in advance should I book?

All travel arrangements should be booked at least four weeks in advance.
For holiday packages and custom-made tours, we strongly recommend booking with at least six weeks’ notice. For larger groups we recommend booking with a few months’ notice.

Please note that advance booking gives us a better chance to design a perfect trip and reserve the very best choices of accommodation, transportation for you.

How can I pay for my booking?

Payment can be made by Credit Card, by Bank Transfer, by Cash payment to our offices or agents in your city or by Demand Draft / Cheque.
If you pay by Credit Card, then you will need to fill in the relevant form and send it to us with the necessary documents for identity verification. If you pay by Bank Transfer, we will ask you to fax or e-mail the payment receipt or necessary documents.

When will be my credit card charged?

What if one of my scheduled activities is cancelled due to weather conditions?

If any of your scheduled activity got cancelled due to some unavoidable circumstances or weather condition then at first we will try our best to reschedule your cancelled activity with your consent. If you disagree to continue that cancelled activity or we became unable to reschedule that activity then we will reimburse that activity cost to you after deducting some incurred service charge. (If any non-refundable advance payment made to book that certain activity)
