Teknaf, the last land part of Bangladesh located 92 KM south of Cox' Bazar, on the southern landfill of the narrow shred of land near Myanmar. The mesmerizing beauty of the Bay of Bengal and the hypnotizingglamour of the hills are visible in this place where the river Naf makes herentrance from Myanmar and create the border between Bangladesh and Myanmar. It is also the gateway of St. Martin’s Island, the only coral island of Bangladesh. Ma Thin’s well, located in the Teknaf police compound is the mostvisited site in Teknaf which is famous for a tragic love story of a Magh girl.

Tekanf Game Reserve Forest, located on the bank of river Naf with an area of around 11,700 hectare is the only game reserve forest of Bangladesh. The warm tropical climate and sufficient rainfall support a wide biological diversity in this area. It is also one of few places in Bangladesh where wild Elephant can be seen. It has some other attractions like Kudum Cave, Nitong Hill and Kuthi Hill.

Kudum Cave, the only sand-mud cave in Bangladesh also known as Bat Cave is another must visit place in Teknaf Reserve Forest. It has some obvious reason for naming it “Bat Cave” as this is home for two species of bats along with four species of fish and snails, three species of spiders and various birds.

The Mochoni Nature Park located in the Teknaf Game Reserve Forest, and from the hilltop of the nature park, you can have an outstanding view of the Bay of Bengal and Myanmar.
