Nature and Pabna, two of the adjacent districts of the Padma, are located in Rajshahi Division. Both of the districts are the witness of once violent Padma. This Padma was the source of the life of the people of these two districts.
In Natore, one can find a special kind of sweet, Kacha Golla. It is made from milk. However, at present the best quality of Kacha Golla is found at Dwarik Vander which is situated near Jai Kali Bari Mandir. Chalan Beel is another attraction of Natore. Once it covered an area of 1085 square kilometer but it has shrunk to only to 26 square kilometer.  This watershed was once the convergence point of 47 rivers of North Bengal. Although the beel area expands into a vast water body with dense aquatic vegetation as long as the Jamuna remains flooded during the monsoon months, it dries out in the winter months. Paksey is a popular place of Pabna. Once there was a paper mill. The only Sugarcane Research Institute of Bangladesh is situated here. This area is connected with Kushtia by the famous Hardinge Bridge and Lalon Shah Bridge. Harding Bridge is one of the oldest bridges of Bangladesh. There is also an EPZ in Paksey.
Both Natore and Pabna are the area of mango and lychee garden. Taste the flavor of the fresh fruits in the garden will divulge a rare experience to anyone.
